Online gaming adventures
Part 3 of 6 in the My quest for extra income series will be discussing our dabbling in the market for online gaming resources. What started out as a passtime at night turned into a bit of a lucrative adventure for us halfway through, only to burn us in the end when we ran the numbers.
Sign Business
The second part of the 6 part series titled My quest for extra income will revovle around our sign business. First, let me give a brief history on how the sign business came about, then I will go into a bit more detail on how it makes us extra income.
The dreaded day job
In this first part of my 6 part series, I'll be discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the 'day job' as a source of income. I'll be touching on a few of the more improtant aspects instead of trying to list everything.
My quest for extra income
Since my wife seems to be the chatterbox when it comes to current events or strange happenings around our household (which you can read at her blog 'Tazzee's Tranquility' within the confines of our website), I figure I might as well start a new section about my quest for extra income. I'll be chopping this up into multiple sections so that I can give good details about each way we have tried and failed or succeeded in making extra income within the last 10 years.
- Part 1 - The dreaded day job
- Part 2 - Sign business
- Part 3 - Online gaming adventures
- Part 4 - Computer Repair
- Part 5 - E-commerce
- Part 6 - Blogging
I'll be trying my best to have a new part done each day, but I am not promising anything on that time frame. I know the sign business section alone I could speak volumes.
Stay tuned for the installments and as always, we welcome any and all comments you may have.
Gary Dell'Abate flubs the pitch
I am what you would call a semi-loyal Howard Stern fan. I'm not hinged on their every word. I don't sit and cry when it's not on. Instead, I listen to it when I can and get a few laughs. Well, today is no exception to the laughs I usually get. As all Stern fans know, Baba Booey (Gary Dell'Abate, the Stern show producer) threw out the ceremonial first pitch to the Mets game last night.
